🎨 How to color it

Color the unicorn pearl white, its flowing mane lavender and silver, the large roses blush pink, and the leafy vines deep garden green. Use sharp colored pencils for the tiny leaf veins, flower centers, and the floral markings on the unicorn’s shoulder and hindquarter. Try a soft mint-to-pale-blue background glow behind the rose arches so the white unicorn stands out.

All through the hush before sunrise, a young unicorn tucked fallen rose stems into the soft earth and bent them over the path. Fiora wanted to make one small doorway by herself before the dew beetles rang their glassy wings. The stems scratched her nose, the leaves smelled peppery and green, and every loop sprang loose with a twang.

“Stay, please,” she whispered, pressing a vine beside her hoof. She braided three stems with a strip of shed mane, then added two daisies to hold the knot. The arch trembled. A drop of dew slid down, cool as a pearl, and landed on the first bud. The bud opened toward the braid, then another, and another, until roses climbed where Fiora’s careful hooves had shown them how.

Ever since that morning, garden roses remember the first handmade doorway and reach for arches when they grow. If you trace the curling stems around Fiora, can you find the braid that started it all?
