🎨 How to color it

Color the dragon mint green, the butterfly wings lavender and sky blue, the big flowers coral and golden yellow, and the spotted mushrooms red with white caps. Use chunky crayons for the dragon’s belly and flowers, then try a sharper pencil or crayon tip for the wing spirals and tiny star dots. Add two soft pink cheek circles and make each wing spot a different candy color for extra fluttery magic.

Under the moonflowers, Pippa chased a silvery hum: mmm-mmm, mmm-mmm. She wanted to know where it slept before sunrise. Dew tickled her toes, and the tall leaves smelled cool and green. Behind a spotted mushroom, she met a tiny mothbell with dusty wings and a yawn as soft as fog.

“Follow the curl,” whispered the mothbell. Pippa leaned close. The hum ran round and round the mothbell’s wing, making a glowing spiral. Pippa touched it with one claw, and the curl hopped onto her own wings—swish, shimmer, stay. Ever since, little fairy dragons have carried spiral marks, so moon-hums always have a cozy place to sleep. Can you find the curls where Pippa’s hum settled?
