🎨 How to color it

Color the kitten creamy white with peach-pink inner ears, the crescent moon buttery yellow, and the clouds pale lavender against a deep blue sky. Use sharp colored pencils for the kitten’s cheek tufts, ear fluff, and tail fur, then switch to smooth side-strokes for the wide night sky. Try making the little wind spirals silver or light aqua so they look like secret trails around the stars.

On the hill where the grass tickled like tiny brushes, Luma set herself a challenge: count every breeze before the crescent moon climbed over the cloud bank. One breeze smelled of clover. One made the daisies nod. One slipped past without a sound, leaving only a cold shimmer on her whiskers.

Luma’s paws pressed into the damp earth. She wanted to chase it, but the dark spaces between the clouds seemed too deep. Then a faint spiral uncurled beside her ear, humming like a faraway teacup. “Wait for me,” she whispered, and took three small steps into the silver grass.

The spiral led her to a star that had fallen asleep in a cloud fold, its light muffled and blue. Luma nudged it with her nose. The star woke with a ping, and the breeze wrapped around it, carrying the spark back into the sky in a glowing curl. Ever since, moonwind spirals shine because one brave kitten followed the quietest breeze. Look near the crescent moon again—you can almost see the cold shimmer on Luma’s whiskers.
