🎨 How to color it

Color the arched bridge in rainbow bands of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet, then make the willow leaves fresh green, the creek light blue, and the stepping stones warm gray. Use broad crayons or markers for the big bridge stripes, and turn the page as needed to follow each curved band without rushing. For a secret touch, add tiny gold dots on the round posts and pale lavender shadows under the stones in the water.

The story behind this coloring page

Under the whispery willows, Liora pressed a small ribbon in her pocket and hauled one more plank to the creek. The ribbon was frayed and plain, but it came from the first thing she had ever woven by herself. She wanted a bridge before the minnows began their silver evening swim. The stepping stones were slick, and the water made hush-hush sounds around them.

When Liora bent the last board into place, the bridge sagged flat. From under a root came a tiny voice: “It forgot how to rise.” Liora tied her ribbon to the top rail. Rain mist touched it, and seven bright colors spread along every curved board. The bridge lifted like a smile and stayed. Ever since, rainbow bridges keep their colors so they remember their proud, handmade bend. Can you find where Liora’s secret ribbon might be hiding among the willows?
