🎨 How to color it

Color the smiling cherry bright red, the polka-dot bow pink with white spots, the heart lavender, and the two stars buttery yellow. Use chunky crayons or markers to fill the big round cherry and wide heart first, then color around the bow’s little circles. For a playful preppy twist, make the cherry stems mint green and add tiny blue shadows under the stars.

The story behind this coloring page

The Giggle Inside the Star — Between the striped float ropes, Rory rolled in tiny cherry circles, practicing the biggest parade smile in the whole rally yard. Read the full story →

Between the striped float ropes, Rory rolled in tiny cherry circles, practicing the biggest parade smile in the whole rally yard. Snip-snap went paper, squeak-squeak went sneakers, and the air smelled like lemon glue and fresh poster paint. Rory wanted to pass one giggle to every bow, heart, and star before the drums began. “Giggle delivery!” Rory called, and the nearest polka-dot bow wiggled like it had hiccups.

The paper stars bobbed above the float, quiet and pointy, until one made a soft crinkle-pop. Out slid a folded note no one had thought to check, not under the float, not inside the ribbon bin, but tucked right in the star’s middle. It read: SHARE THIS LAUGH WITH EVERYONE. Rory laughed so hard the heart leaned closer, the cherries bounced, and the stars seemed to grin. If you peek at the big star, maybe it is still holding one more giggle delivery.
