🎨 How to color it

Color the giraffe golden yellow with warm brown spots, make the leafy branch fresh green, and shade the big circle behind it soft peach. Use chunky crayons or markers for the giraffe’s long neck and body, then switch to a sharper point for the small leaves and spots. Try giving the tail tuft and little horns a darker brown so they stand out from the sunny body.

Under the whispery canopy, Miro stepped left, then right, looking for a soft place to rest his tired hooves. The grass scratched, the ground sloped, and the wind kept tickling his ears with leaves that went hush-hush.

Then a silver moon-moth bumped his nose. “Please hold still,” she said. “I need one tall, calm place to find the round light.” Miro froze. The moth circled his spots, his neck, and the pale sky circle beyond the branches. Warm and still, Miro felt the tree lean close like home.

Ever since, giraffes rest standing under trees, exactly where their long legs, leafy shade, and quiet hearts belong. Next time you see Miro’s round sky circle, can you find the tiny hush-hush place where the moth would dance?
