🎨 How to color it

Color the witch hat deep purple, the wide brim black, the belt buckle gold, the broom handle tan, and the three stars bright yellow. The big hat and brim are perfect for chunky crayons or broad marker strokes, while the buckle rings need slower little circles. Add a pale lavender shadow under the brim so the broom looks tucked secretly behind it.

In the broom closet behind the candy pantry, a tiny broom-keeper named Juno tapped jars with her handle. Tap-tap. She wanted enough star-sugar to sprinkle on every bat cookie, but the shelves smelled only of dust, straw, and plain old pepper.

Then something crinkled inside a floppy black hat nobody ever checked. “Psst, help me lift it,” Juno whispered. Out rolled three yellow star lumps, sweet as moonlight. Juno laughed so loudly the broom bristles shook. She poured the sugar into the hat, and joy puffed it tall, taller, tallest, into a point.

Ever since, witch hats point up to keep surprise sweetness close to the stars. If you peek at the hat tip, can you keep Juno’s secret?
