🎨 How to color it

Color the wrapped candies cherry red and lemon yellow, the square caramels golden brown, and the shelf jars pale blue with striped peppermint sticks inside. Use chunky crayons or broad markers for the big candy shapes, and don’t worry if little hands color over the twisty wrapper ends. Add a silly rainbow drizzle on the top caramel so it looks like the candy pile is wearing a party hat.

The story behind this coloring page

Every morning, Bix the caramel cube sat square and still while the jar candies clinked, plink, plink, behind him. He wanted to keep his wiggly frosting stripe perfect, because it was the last squiggle his best friend had piped before moving to the high shelf. “No smudges,” Bix whispered, smelling vanilla and peppermint in the warm shop air.

Until one day, a wrapped taffy rolled over and tickled his corner. Because of that, Bix wobbled. Because of THAT, he slid bump-bump into two pillow candies, and his frosting stripe flopped onto the whole stack in a wild, sweet loop. Finally, Bix laughed so hard he shared the stripe, dot by dot, with every candy nearby. If you peek at the candy pile, can you spot the caramel still wearing the first happy wiggle?
