🎨 How to color it

Give the bunny a soft cream coat, the hedgehog warm chestnut quills, the flowerpots terra-cotta orange, and the stone paths pale slate blue. Use sharp colored pencils around the many little sprouts, petals, and watering-can flower, then fill the larger clouds and garden beds with smoother strokes. Try making every seedling a different spring green so the rows look lively without crowding the cozy garden scene.

Under the bouncy white clouds, a paper seed packet rattled in Liora’s basket like tiny maracas. She wanted the spring garden to have extra sprouts before the noon bell, so she hopped from bed to bed, pat-pat-patting soil with her paws while the air smelled of wet earth and crushed mint. A hedgehog named Brindle rolled up with a watering can that chimed softly. “One drink for each little leaf,” he said, and the seedlings trembled under the silver drops.

They worked faster than the bees. Liora tucked a shy sprout beside the path; Brindle sprinkled the tray of babies waiting their turn; the flowerpots stood in a proud row like small drums. Then something tapped inside the basket. Not a trowel. Not the gloves. A field mouse popped out wearing a seed packet like a cape, whiskers dusty with marigold pollen.

“I was leaving these where nobody would notice,” squeaked the mouse, tipping out three golden seeds. Liora grinned and planted them in the bare patch nearest the stones, while Brindle gave them the gentlest rain. By noon, no one knew who had made the path bloom first—but next time you see those bouncy white clouds, see if you can spot where the secret seed parade began.
