🎨 How to color it

Color the electric sedan deep graphite blue, the charging station clean white with lime-green accents, the sidewalk pale concrete, and the trees leafy spring green. Use sharp colored pencils for the thin wheel spokes, window trim, plug, and cord loops, then fill the larger car panels with smooth, even strokes. Try a faint sunset gradient in the open sky so the parked car and charger feel extra bright against it.

By the time the streetlamps clicked on, Vela had counted three open spaces, two honking scooters, and exactly one free charger at the far curb. She wanted a full battery before the midnight moon parade, so she rolled out from her cozy awning, slipped between the painted lines, and plugged in with a soft thunk. The cord felt cool and rubbery against her fender. Then came a tiny scrape-scrape from the sidewalk.

A snail with a silver shell was crossing straight through the coil of cable. “No rushing the road,” he whispered, as if sharing an excellent secret. Vela’s dashboard blinked: SLOW CHARGE. Waiting cost her the first parade song, drifting over the rooftops like tin bells. Still, she kept her wheels still until the snail reached the tree box and bowed one glossy antenna.

Only then did the charger flash green. Vela glided back with fewer minutes than she wanted, but the snail’s trail shone behind her like a moonlit ribbon. If you trace the cord by the curb, you might find where patience left its silver path after the streetlamps clicked on.
