Every afternoon, Bram picked up smooth sticks behind the practice meadow and tied scraps of ribbon to them. He wanted to make one cheer flag all by himself before the small game, with letters big enough for the clouds to read. The grass smelled sweet, and his knots went snip, tug, snip.
Until one day, a soft wind puffed across the meadow and flipped his flag inside out. Because of that, Bram sewed stars on both sides. Because of that, the flag looked bright no matter which way it waved. “I made it,” he whispered, holding it high while the paper crackled like applause. If you spot his flag, can you find the stars that made the wind part of the cheer?
