In the backyard grass, Bobo patted the big brown football. Pat-pat! It stood tall and shiny in the sun. Bobo took one tiny brave step closer.
The ball wobbled. The grass went tickle-tickle. Then a green grasshopper popped up and said, “Boing?”
Bobo giggled. “Boing!” He tapped the ball, the hopper hopped, and the ball gave a silly wiggle. Next time you see the grass under that tall football, maybe Bobo’s little boing buddy is hiding there.
