🎨 How to color it

Color the princess fairy’s dress lavender, her wings pale aqua, the giant flower sunny yellow, and the roses in the corners soft pink. Use chunky crayons or broad markers for the big petals and wings, then switch to a sharpened pencil for the tiny stars, hearts, and leaf veins. Try making every star on her skirt gold, as if the magic from her wand has sprinkled down onto the hem.

Under the warm curl of her petal blanket, Briar tapped a tiny silver spoon against her knee: tink, tink. She wanted one drop of moon-dew to polish it bright for the Moon Moth Tea. The spoon had fed her first honey-milk, and its bowl was cloudy now. So Briar stepped from her cozy blossom, past sleepy tulips and roses that smelled like jam, toward the highest leaf where dew gathered.

A cricket bowed and asked for a ride across a puddle. Briar set down her spoon as a boat, but the puddle stole its shine. “Oh, my little spoon,” she whispered. Then the cricket chirped so sweetly that stars trembled down like sugar. Dew filled the spoon to the brim—more than Briar needed. She flew home with silver light sloshing softly, polished the spoon once, and poured the rest over every waiting cup. Can you spot the sparkle that began with tink, tink?
