🎨 How to color it

Color the princess’s gown cotton-candy pink, her crown sunny gold, the castle soft lavender, and the star wand bright yellow. Use chunky crayons or broad markers for the big skirt panels, then help your child dot the tiny hearts and stars last. Try making the swirly clouds pale blue so the yellow wand sparkles look extra warm.

At the hill castle, little Princess Liora carried one unlit stick through the dusk garden, tapping each flower pot with a soft tap-tap. She wanted one gentle light for the path to the sleepy daisies, but the evening stayed blue and quiet. Then something sneezed in the tall grass. “Pip?” Liora whispered. A tiny fallen star blinked up at her, warm as toast and smelling faintly of rain.

The star had tumbled from a curly cloud and was afraid of the big dark between sky and hill. Liora’s knees felt wobbly, but she held out her plain stick. “You can rest here,” she said. The star climbed to the tip, and the stick shone with a hushy golden glow. Ever since that first brave reach, princess wands have carried stars on top to keep paths kind at night. If you peek at Liora’s raised wand, can you spot the little star still resting there?
