🎨 How to color it

Color the central ring in marigold, the small lotus petals in coral, the pointed triangular layers in teal, and the wide outer arcs in deep indigo. Use sharp colored pencils and work from the center outward so the narrow nested points stay crisp instead of smudged. For a mischievous twist, hide one tiny lime-green petal among the repeated teal points and let it appear only after a slow second look.

The story behind this coloring page

The Patient Little Lime — Under the desk lamp, Ansel traced the mandala’s rings in patient silence: circle, petal, point, pause. Read the full story →

Under the desk lamp, Ansel traced the mandala’s rings in patient silence: circle, petal, point, pause. The pencil made a dry little whisper, and the coffee beside him smelled faintly of cardamom. Layer by layer, the pattern seemed to behave itself, all solemn symmetry and folded lotus manners. Then, in the third crown of points, a single lime speck blinked back—his cat had stepped in watercolor and edited the universe. Ansel laughed softly, kept coloring around it, and let the careful petals bow to the patient little lime.
