Under the bunting in Tinsel Hall, Bramble tiptoed with a cupcake as round as his nose. He wanted to hear the frosting giggle before the party song began, so he held it close and listened. Plip, pip, plip! Confetti smelled like paper rain, balloons bumped his hat, and the cupcake’s star sprinkles twinkled without making a peep.
Then a crumb-sized voice squeaked, “Not so close—your mustache is tickly!” Out popped a tiny Sugar Sprite, wearing a sprinkle for a cap and dusting the frosting with a feather. Bramble laughed so hard his balloons bobbed like hiccups. The sprite bowed and tapped the cupcake twice: giggle, wiggle! When the song started, everyone leaned in to hear the dessert chuckle; next time you see Bramble’s cupcake, count the stars and guess which one is the sprite’s cap.
