High above the crater rim, a star balloon named Lumi pulled her curly string and felt a boing in her belly. She wanted to keep that boing all to herself, because it made the moon dust puff like flour and the little stars go ting-ting.
Then a round moon pebble rolled out of a crater. “Psst, tug once for me,” it whispered, smelling like cold chalk. Lumi tugged, and the pebble bounced. The planet rings wobbled, the tiny stars clapped, and Lumi laughed so hard her string curled forever.
Ever since then, moon balloons keep curly strings, so one happy tug can be shared. If you spot Lumi above the craters, can you guess which tug made the first boing?
