🎨 How to color it

Color the prince’s cape royal blue, his crown bright gold, the tall curtains ruby red, and the little wall stars sunny yellow. Use chunky crayons or broad markers for the cape, curtains, and steps, then switch to a sharper pencil for the tiny crown jewels and sleeve swirls. Try making each step a slightly different warm gray so his pointed slipper looks ready to glide down them.

Behind the palace curtains, the boards smelled like fresh pine and lemon wax. Luca tapped one slipper on the first step, then the second, then the third. He had invented a game: follow every gold mark without letting his crown wobble. “Quest begins!” he whispered, and swept his cape like a banner.

The marks curled past the steps, under a rope-tied curtain, and up toward the starry wall. Tap, slide, dip—Luca chased them faster, curious about where the trail ended. Then the surprise came: the stars were not marks at all. They were tiny stage lanterns, blinking in order, showing the next move.

Luca dropped to one knee as the last star winked above him. The crown stayed steady; the game had become a dance with the palace itself. If you follow the stars around him, can you guess where the next tap will land?
