🎨 How to color it

Color the dinosaur spring green, the space suit bright white with cobalt blue cuffs, the helmet glass pale sky blue, and the moon rocks soft gray. Use sharp colored pencils for the suit hoses, chest buttons, tail bands, and the tiny rocket badge, then switch to broader strokes for the helmet bubble and open sky. Try a deep navy-to-purple space background so the white suit, yellow stars, and blue-green Earth glow around the smiling face.

Every orbit, Quill hopped to the same round crater with his silver cup, waiting for one bead of moonwater to rise from the dust. The stars made no sound, but his boots did: puff, hush, puff, hush. He wanted enough moonwater to wake the seed locked in the greenhouse drawer back at the lander. Most days, the cup stayed dry, and his radio filled with soft static like rain far away.

Until one day, the crater did not gleam at all. Because of that, Quill knelt closer and found a thin crack hidden under the shadowed rim, where nobody had thought to look. Because of that, he tugged a loose moonstone free, and cold, blue light breathed up from below. “Wait for me,” he whispered.

At last, the floor opened into a tiny cave, not wet but sparkling with frost flowers, each petal holding one patient drop. Quill filled his cup without spilling and left the first drop for the sleeping seed. Next time you spot his round helmet above the crater, can you keep the secret of the puff, hush, puff, hush?
