🎨 How to color it

Color the vampire’s cape deep plum, the bow knot cherry red, and the tiny fangs a soft cream. For ages 2-4, use chunky crayons to fill the big round face and wide cape shapes, and don’t worry about staying inside every curve. Add a pale blue shadow around the cape collar so the happy smile and red bow feel extra cozy.

Under the warm blanket pile, Niko patted his neck. His soft ribbon was gone! It smelled like lavender soap, and he wanted it back.

Tap, tap, tap went his toes into the quiet laundry room. A sheet went whoosh. Niko paid one tiny sneeze—ah-choo!—and found his ribbon hugging a sock basket.

“Come home,” he whispered. Back under the blanket pile, he tied it in a loopy bow. Next time you see his big grin, can you spot the ribbon that ran away?
