Warm wiggles tickled the water, and Vela followed them—swish, swish—past tall sea leaves and soft sand bumps. She wanted to know where the golden feeling came from.
A tiny crab on a flat rock lifted both claws. “Shh,” he said. Above them, bright lines danced on the waves. The crab was not waving hello. He was catching sun music.
