Under the big playroom table, Doodle sat in his box and made a tiny challenge: no peeking until the yarn went bump. The cardboard smelled dusty. His paws went pat-pat. His tail went twitch-twitch.
The yarn rolled by. Bump! Doodle popped up. “Ta-da!” he squeaked.
