Under the swish-swish balloons, Theodore tapped his bow tie. He wanted to march where the star bits twinkled and the big letters curved like a happy road.
Thumpa-thump! A striped box wiggled beside him. “Pop?” said Theodore.
Pop! Out jumped a ribbon, bouncing like a drum. The balloons bobbed faster. The stars seemed to clap. Theodore marched left, right, wiggle-wiggle, right where the party sounds fit his paws.
