🎨 How to color it

Color the husky’s fur icy gray and white, the giant bone creamy beige, the food bowl cherry red, and the daisies sunny yellow. Use chunky crayons or markers for the big face, bowl, and bone, and don’t worry if little hands color over the thick black lines. For extra fun, make the falling leaves orange, gold, and red so this mischievous pup looks ready for an autumn snack parade.

The story behind this coloring page

Every day after the leaves went swish-swish, Pip dragged his bowl to the sunny patch by the daisies and waited for crunchies. He tapped one paw. Clink! His tail thumped. Thump! Then one day, a huge bone rolled from under the leaf pile and said, “Ahem.”

Because of that, Pip dropped his crunchies into the daisies. Because of THAT, three sparrows swooped down for a feast, and the bone hopped into Pip’s bowl like it owned the place. Pip giggled, nudged the bowl, and sent the bossy bone wobble-wobble across the grass. Finally, it bonked a pumpkin, sneezed out crumbs, and became the best lunch table in the yard. Next time you see Pip’s raised paw, can you spot the spot where the bone first said, “Ahem”?
