🎨 How to color it

Color the unicorn pearl white with a lavender mane, give the witch hat deep purple stripes, make the jack-o’-lantern bright orange, and shade the crescent moon buttery yellow. Use chunky crayons or broad markers for the unicorn’s body, pumpkin, and moon, and don’t worry about staying inside every tiny star. Try making the little stars alternate gold and silver so the path looks like a shared Halloween game trail.

The story behind this coloring page

Behind the crooked fence, Lumi pressed cool paper stars onto her tail and whispered the rule of her new game: every lonely place should get one sparkle. She wanted the whole Halloween path to glow before the moon finished smiling. With a paper witch hat tipping over one ear, she stepped away from her soft grass nest. Crunch, crunch went the leaves under her hooves.

First she gave a star to the bare tree with the hollow grin. A bat squeaked, “My turn?” Lumi shared two more, though it left her tail much plainer. At the pumpkin bend, only one star was left. Lumi tucked it beside the jack-o’-lantern’s curly vine, and the path shone back at her from fence, branch, wing, and pumpkin. Can you find where Lumi shared her biggest joy, sparkle by sparkle, behind the crooked fence?
