🎨 How to color it

Color the little alien soft lime green, the backpack and chest gadget sky blue, and the tall crystals pale lavender with silver edges. Use chunky crayons or markers for the alien’s big round head and moon rocks, then try a sharper pencil for the crystal points. Add a secret glow by shading the tallest crystal from lavender at the bottom to icy blue at the tip.

Under the tick-tick stars, Pip packed his tiny sound box. His pod nook felt too quiet; the bedtime hum that made his toes curl had gone missing. He stepped onto the crystal flats, where tall stones clicked softly in the cold blue dark.

Pip crossed three bumpy moon hills and traded his last honey puff to a sleepy dust moth for the path ahead. At the tallest crystal, every point shone, but none hummed. Then his boot tapped a plain round pebble. Mmmmmm. The sound was tucked inside it! “Home,” whispered Pip, holding it close. He carried the hum back to his pod, and next time you see the tick-tick stars, can you spot the little stone that knew where Pip belonged?
