🎨 How to color it

Color the parachute panels cherry red and sunshine yellow, the capsule silver with a teal window, and the clouds soft sky blue around the green-and-blue Earth. Use chunky crayons or markers to fill the big parachute sections first, then trace the capsule’s small planet badge with a sharp crayon tip. Try making every other parachute stripe a different color so the landing looks like a giant space umbrella.

Every day, high above Earth, Orla tapped the capsule window and played Safe Seat: click belt, pat helmet, count the clouds. She wanted to press the bright return lever by herself, but her knees wibbled whenever the speaker said, “Drop soon.” So she invented Cloud-Plop: if the capsule passed three clouds shaped like snacks, she would pull the lever. The air smelled like warm buttons and orange peel from her lunch pouch.

One day, the first cloud looked like a pancake. Plop! The second looked like a pickle. Plop-plop! Because of that, Orla giggled so hard she forgot to be scared. Because of THAT, her elbow bumped the return lever—WHOOMP! The parachute popped open like the biggest umbrella in the sky. “I meant to do that,” Orla whispered, then grinned. Finally, the capsule bobbed gently toward home, and if you can spot the tiny planet badge, you’ve found where Cloud-Plop began.
