🎨 How to color it

Give the giraffe a buttery yellow body, cocoa-brown spots, soft tan ossicones, blue pond water, and olive-green cattails. For little hands, use chunky crayons on the big neck and body first, and don’t worry if color hops over the wiggly spot lines. Add a silly surprise by making the pond ripples rainbow rings, as if the giraffe just found something giggly underwater.

The story behind this coloring page

By the little pond, Pippo bent low for a sip. His knees went knock-knock, and the wet mud smelled squishy.

The water made round rings: plip, plop, ploopy-plop. Pippo grinned and wiggled his tufted tail.

Then a bubble popped. A tiny frog peeked up and said, “You drink upside down!” Pippo snorted so hard the cattails shook.

The frog blew one more bubble. Pippo made one more ring. Next time you see those pond circles, maybe you’ll hear Pippo’s upside-down hello.
