🎨 How to color it

Try petal pink and lavender for the fairies’ wings, mint green for the leafy seats, golden yellow for the cake, and robin’s-egg blue for the teacups. Use sharp colored pencils for the tiny cup patterns, flower centers, dotted table spots, and curling sparkle trails so the details stay crisp. Give each fairy a different wing gradient, then repeat one of those colors on a teacup to make the party feel secretly matched.

The story behind this coloring page

Why Teacups Remember Laughter — Under the damp ferns behind the bellflowers, Celandine stirred raspberry dew in a thimble and whispered the rules of her new game. Read the full story →

Under the damp ferns behind the bellflowers, Celandine stirred raspberry dew in a thimble and whispered the rules of her new game. Each friend had to take one sip, hide one laugh in the cup, and pass it on without spilling a drop. Celandine wanted everyone to feel the fizzing happiness that had been buzzing in her chest since sunrise, but the cups sat quiet as pebbles.

Then a sound came from the cake: tik, tik, tik. Not crumbs. Not ants. The sugar beads were tapping back the rhythm of every laugh the cups had swallowed. Jun cut the candle flame low, and in the honey-colored light, tiny silver rings rose from the teacups, each one carrying a giggle, a snort, or a squeak.

“Share them now!” Celandine cried, and she tipped her cup toward the others. The rings flew into every cup at the table, warm as breath and sweet as berry steam. Ever since that secret game in the fern tea ring, fairy teacups remember laughter until someone kind pours it out again—can you spot the cup that might still be holding Celandine’s first hidden laugh?
