🎨 How to color it

Color the gymnast’s leotard berry pink, her hair buns honey brown, the No. 1 trophy bright gold, and the rainbow arches in red, yellow, green, and blue. Use sharp colored pencils for the tiny hearts, stars, music notes, and banner letters, then switch to broader strokes for the clouds and mat. Try a soft blue-to-lavender background behind the beam so the gold trophy and pink leotard pop.

The story behind this coloring page

Every afternoon, Vera crossed the practice beam counting squeaks: one for the mount, two for the turn, three for the daring kick. She wanted to test her new game, Trophy Trail, before the festival crowd arrived. The rule was simple: land a balance, earn a paper star; trade five stars for a silly prize from the chalk bucket. Then the prize table arrived with only three jump ropes, and the youngest tumblers stared at it as if it had shrunk in the bright gym lights.

So Vera changed the game without announcing it. Because of that, every star she won slipped into the little team’s envelope. Because of that, they burst across the mats collecting enough for ropes, ribbons, and a bag of orange-scented chalk. At last, Vera balanced beside the big cup while music bounced off the banners. “Secret level complete,” she whispered. If you spot the trophy, maybe you can guess where the last paper star was hidden after the third squeak.
