🎨 How to color it

Color the heart nurse strawberry red, the medical cap bright white with a cherry-red cross, the clinic sign sky blue, and the plant leaves fresh green. Use chunky crayons or markers for the big heart and floor tiles, then switch to a sharper crayon tip for the tiny bottles and stethoscope curls. Add pale pink cheeks and make the open clinic doors glow light yellow, as if a secret room is waiting behind them.

Under the clinic’s blue night sign, Nori polished a tiny silver button until it smelled like clean rain. The button looked plain, but it had been tucked into Nori’s cap since the first cough ever echoed down the hallway. Nori wanted to know why it rattled whenever someone felt scared. Behind the swinging doors came a soft clink-clink, though every bottle on the cart sat still. “Who’s there?” Nori whispered.

The button warmed. Nori pinned it to the cap’s white cross, lifted one hand, and gave a wobbly wave. Ting! The doors chimed back. Down the hall, a lost little firefly patient followed the sound, blinking gold in the lemony floor light. From then on, every clinic heart wore a cross and waved first, so the hidden chime could find anyone with a fluttery feeling. If you spot Nori’s raised hand, shh—maybe the silver button is rattling again.
