🎨 How to color it

Color the puppy warm cream, the striped scarf in sapphire blue and silver, the menorah polished gold, and the dreidels deep navy with pale blue letters. Use sharp colored pencils for the tiny stars, Hebrew letters, rug swirls, and candle flames, then switch to broader strokes for the puppy’s ears and round paws. Try a cool blue-to-purple glow around the menorah so the puppy’s cheeks and scarf feel extra cozy against the night-sky decorations.

The story behind this coloring page

Every evening, when the den smelled like wax and warm cinnamon, Kugel tapped the rug stars with one paw: silver star, blue swirl, dreidel, tail-flick. He wanted his new game, Candlelight Sneak-Off, to reach the big center circle without bumping the menorah stand. “No paws on the fringe!” he whispered to himself.

Until one day, his tail made a secret rule of its own. Swish—one dreidel rolled. Because of that, Kugel hopped after it; because of THAT, his scarf slipped over his nose, and he sneezed so hard the candle flames shivered like giggling bees.

At last, Kugel sat exactly in the center circle, planted all four paws, and made the final rule: the winner had to be still enough for the lights to dance first. If you spot the tiny rug stars by his paws, you’ll know where Candlelight Sneak-Off begins: silver star, blue swirl, dreidel, tail-flick.
