🎨 How to color it

Color the motorcycle tank cherry red, the tires charcoal gray, the wooden ramp honey brown, and the leafy tree bright green. Use chunky crayons or markers for the big tank, wheels, and clouds, then try a sharper crayon point for the fence lines and little tire marks. Add alternating pale and dark brown stripes on the ramp boards so the front wheel looks ready to bump-bump upward.

The story behind this coloring page

The Ramp That Shared Joy — Behind the little house, Benny rolled his red motorcycle to a board beside the pond. Read the full story →

Behind the little house, Benny rolled his red motorcycle to a board beside the pond. He had set himself a small challenge: make one happy bump so loud that the ducks across the water would quack along. The board smelled warm and woody in the sun. Bump-bump! The front wheel hopped, and Benny laughed so hard his helmet wiggled.

Then a duckling peeped from the reeds, “Soft, please.” Its brothers were napping in a feathery pile. Benny patted the board and thought. He painted one honey stripe for loud joy and one pale stripe for quiet joy, all the way across. Now riders could choose: rumble on the dark stripes, whisper over the light ones. Ever since, backyard ramps wear stripes, because a joy that big needs room for everyone. Can you find the stripe where Benny’s first soft bump began?
