🎨 How to color it

Give the motorcycle a cherry red frame, the rider’s helmet bright teal, the SHOWTIME banner golden yellow, and the circus tent stripes royal blue and white. Use sharp colored pencils for the tire treads, spokes, banner letters, and cone stripes, then switch to markers for the bigger ramp boards and tent panels. Try a warm orange glow around the headlight and little starbursts so the night show feels ready to roar.

The story behind this coloring page

Every evening, Vesper rolled the little stunt bike around the circus lot, past popcorn steam and horse-hay smell, checking cones while the big riders practiced. She wanted one clean trip over the wooden ramp before the crowd arrived, just once, with no one counting. Until one day, the ramp answered her tire with a strange clack-clack instead of a thump.

Because of that, Vesper knelt in the sawdust and tapped each board. Clack-clack. The showmaster frowned. “No jump until we know.” Because of that, the tent crew pulled ropes, the brass band stopped mid-toot, and everyone listened while something rattled deep inside the ramp where nobody thought to look. Vesper’s mouth went dry, but she slid her small hand through a side gap and found a metal lunch tin tied with red string.

Inside was the missing starter crank for the spotlight tower, lost all week. Without it, the banner would stay dark. “I can take it,” Vesper said, and the words surprised her by sounding steady. She rode up, up, over the ramp, landing with a braaap and a puff of dust beside the tower. When the lights blazed and the crowd cheered, Vesper tasted popcorn in the wind and dared herself to remember the first clack-clack.
