🎨 How to color it

Layer jewel tones on the onion domes—emerald, amethyst, and ruby—then use warm sandstone for the brick towers, teal for the river, and pale gold for both suns. Because the castle is packed with narrow arches, petals, scallops, and brickwork, use sharp colored pencils and build outward from the central floral arch to keep the symmetry calm. Try a dawn-to-dusk twist by shading the left sky peach and the right sky lavender, so the two suns feel like they are sharing one quiet day.

The story behind this coloring page

Before the castle had two suns, Veyra kept its highest patterns awake with a silver pencil and a bowl of crushed saffron. She had set herself a small challenge: fill one empty dome before the evening bell, not with crowns or swords, but with every curve that had ever comforted her. The stone was cool beneath her wrist; the river below made a soft shushing sound, as if reminding her to breathe.

She drew a petal for her mother’s shawl, a spiral for steam rising from cardamom tea, a scallop for the laughter that traveled from window to window after rain. By sunset, the dome held more gladness than one tower could keep. The lines began to glow, first honey, then white-gold, and the western sun paused instead of sinking. Across the roof, the eastern sun lifted to answer it.

Veyra opened the shutters and let the light pour over bridges, pines, brick paths, and sleeping arches. Ever since, the castle has kept two suns: one for the joy you carry, and one for the joy you give away.
