🎨 How to color it

Color the ghost a pale moon blue, the jack-o’-lantern bright orange with a green vine, and the candy corn yellow, orange, and white. The thick sticker outline is perfect for chunky crayons or markers, so fill the big ghost shape first and save the small pumpkin face for last. Try making the ghost’s cheek ovals soft pink and adding a lavender shadow along the wavy bottom edge.

The story behind this coloring page

Behind the blue pantry curtain, Soozi lined up three crumbs and whispered her challenge: touch the tallest candy corn before the clock went tick-tock twelve. The kitchen smelled like cinnamon toast, and the cupboard gap looked as dark as a mouse tunnel. She slipped out, brushing flour dust with her wavy tail. A cold spoon clinked. Soozi froze. “Just one float farther,” she squeaked.

The candy corn waited on the high shelf, striped like a tiny lantern. Soozi reached it, but her tail bumped a little pumpkin beside it. Whooo! A soft whistle came from the pumpkin’s grin, and a hidden curl of paper popped out: FOR THE BRAVE TASTER. Inside was a seed, warm as toast. Soozi carried the candy corn and the secret seed back to her curtain nook, smiling at the tick-tock dark. Next time you spot her pumpkin, can you guess where the whistle hides?
