🎨 How to color it

Color the lion’s mane honey gold, his crown bright yellow with ruby and sapphire jewels, and his royal cape deep red over the castle’s soft gray towers. Use chunky crayons or markers for the big mane, cape, and sky shapes, then switch to a sharper crayon point for the crown jewels and the twisted cape trim. Try making the cape red on the outside and purple underneath, so the smiling lion looks extra grand in front of the cool castle walls.

Every evening, when the blue shadows slid over the courtyard stones, Tavi tapped his paws in a game he had invented: Crown-Step. Tap left, tap right, swish the cape, freeze! The castle bells answered with clong, cling, clong, but the tall moon gate never moved. Tavi wanted to reach the Lantern Balcony before the fireflies blinked on. “Again,” he whispered, feeling the cool stone under his toes.

Until one windy evening, the bells rang in a mixed-up hurry. Because of that, Tavi stepped too soon and bumped the gate with his nose. Because of THAT, the crown on his head wobbled, and one tiny jewel flashed against the lock. Tavi waited, tail twitching, for the slowest bell. Clong. He tapped once. The gate swung open with a silvery sigh. If you spot his bright crown and sweeping cape, can you guess which paw made the patient winning step?
