🎨 How to color it

Use bright red for the pirate flag, warm brown for the ship, sky blue for the big curly waves, and sunny yellow for the smiling sun. Chunky crayons are perfect for the wide sail stripes, round portholes, and big rolling waves, and it is okay if little hands color past the lines. Try making the skull sail black and white, then add one favorite color to each pirate hat so every sailor feels special.

The story behind this coloring page

The Bell That Shared Sunshine — Every morning, little pirate Arlo tapped his tiny bell. Ting! Read the full story →

Every morning, little pirate Arlo tapped his tiny bell. Ting! The sound felt round and shiny in his hand.

One day, the bell rang back from far away. Ting-ting! Because of that, the ship turned toward the warm sound. Because of THAT, a small chest on the island popped open and spilled sun sparkles on the sand.

“Share it!” Arlo called. At last, the crew rang the bell for clouds, birds, waves, and everyone. Can you find the bell that made the morning go ting?
