In a warm wave pocket, Beno pushed a tiny blue whistle with his nose. Piff? Nothing. He wanted its hidden song.
He paddled out—swish, swish—past tickly foam and cold, wiggly water. A tall wave boomed, “Hummm!” Beno dropped the whistle. Plip! Down it spun.
Beno dove, bumped it with his flipper, and blew. PEEEEEP! Little bubbles danced up. Far away, three turtle friends heard and came spinning.
