🎨 How to color it

Give the monkey a warm golden brown, the peeled banana a buttery yellow, the thick branch a chestnut brown, and the big jungle leaves a bright green. Use chunky crayons for the monkey’s big belly, face, and branch, and don’t worry if little hands color over the bold lines. For a fun surprise, make the tail ring around the branch a darker brown so it looks extra strong and swingy.

In the soft leafy treetop, Bimo patted his cozy branch. He whispered, “I can get one banana upside down.” Secret-secret, he hooked his tail and scooted out. Sway-sway went the branch. Tickly leaves brushed his ears. His tummy felt jumpy.

The banana smelled sweet and sunny. Bimo grabbed it—oops!—one peel slipped and bonked his nose. He giggled, took one brave bite, and swung back to his cozy branch with a new wiggle in his tail. Next time you see him grinning, shh… you know why.
