🎨 How to color it

Color the candy cane stripes peppermint red and bright white, the bow cherry red, the holly leaves pine green, and the two berries cranberry. Every evening, Bram hung from the mantel ribbon and counted crackles in the fireplace: pop, snap, poof. He wanted everyone to join his brand-new game, Peppermint Parade, but the other ornaments only swayed and snoozed.

Until one day, Bram twirled so fast his bow flapped like a tiny flag. Because of that, his holly leaves tickled two cranberry berries. Because of THAT, the berries bounced together—bonk!—and made the sleepy silver bells laugh with a bright jingle.

“Parade time!” Bram shouted. Soon the ribbon wiggled, the bells chimed, and even the pinecone twins marched in place. Bram’s joy felt too big for one hook, so he gave everyone a turn calling the next silly move. Can you spot the bow that started the whole peppermint parade?
