🎨 How to color it

Color Dr. Smith’s coat bright white with teal scrubs, make the giant heart model rosy red with blue-purple veins, and give the ECG monitor a pale gray case with a neon green heartbeat line. Use sharp colored pencils for the tiny labels like AORTA and VENA CAVA, then switch to broader marker strokes for the lab coat, floor tiles, and wall posters. For a fun clinic look, add a soft yellow glow behind the human heart poster and make the heartbeat line on the monitor pop brighter than everything else.

Every day after school, Zara timed the clinic’s quietest minute: no squeaky stool, no rattling medicine bottles, no beep from the ECG cart. Her challenge was simple—make someone laugh before the minute ended, without getting shushed by Dr. Smith. She practiced eyebrow wiggles in the shiny supply cabinet and hid rubber ducks behind the bandage boxes, but the waiting room stayed sniffly and still.

Until one day, Dr. Smith rolled out the huge heart model for a lesson and whispered, “No tricks near the aorta.” Because of that, Zara saluted very seriously, then taped tiny paper mustaches to the labels instead. Because of THAT, each kid had to read a label in a fancy voice before moving the mustache to the next part. “Pulmonary artery, at your service!” Zara boomed, and the ECG cart answered with a surprised beep-beep-beep.

Finally, Dr. Smith laughed so hard her clipboard slipped, and she turned the lesson into a grand Heart Parade. Everyone marched past the model, chanting the parts like a ridiculous song. If you ever spot a mustache near a clinic chart, listen closely for Zara timing the quietest minute.
