🎨 How to color it

Color the dinosaur mint green, its back spots peach, the heart balloon rosy red, the smiling cloud pale blue, and the flower sunny yellow. Use chunky crayons or markers for the dinosaur’s big belly and tail, then switch to a sharper crayon tip for the little toes, spots, and balloon string. Try making the heart balloon darkest at the bottom and lightest at the top, as if it is holding a secret glow.

Under the hum-hum cloud, Orlo tied a heart balloon to a reed and invented Sky-Quiet: he would hide the balloon behind his back, let it tug once, then guess which way the wind wanted to go. The string tickled his claw. “Shh,” he told it, because the game worked best when nobody heard.

Then he noticed a little flower bent low in the warm dirt, its petals dusty and still. Orlo did not call the bees or ask the cloud to clap. He slipped the heart string around the flower’s stem and stepped away. Up bobbed the flower, nod-nod, bright as a secret.

Ever since, balloons tug upward because Orlo’s first one remembered helping when nobody was watching. If you spot that heart string, can you keep Sky-Quiet too?
