🎨 How to color it

Color the nurse’s uniform soft sky blue, her cross badges bright red, the bandages box sunny yellow, and the window plant fresh green. Use sharp colored pencils for the small labels, bottles, test tubes, and heart-monitor zigzag so the tiny clinic details stay clear. Try a pale lavender wall behind the shelves to make the red crosses and yellow bandage box pop.

The story behind this coloring page

Under the soft hum of the heart monitor, Lina set herself a challenge: fill the last bandage box before the waiting room clock clicked nine. The clinic smelled like lemon soap and paper sleeves. She checked the cabinet, the rolling cart, even the shelf under the tiny window plant, but the square bandages were gone.

A faint tap-tap came from the supply hall. Lina stepped out, leaving her warm desk lamp behind, and followed the sound past cool metal trays and whispery curtain rings. At the end, a sticky note clung to the door: Count the crosses. She counted red crosses on bottles, boxes, and her own cap. Twelve. Behind the twelfth, a loose tile hid one small packet.

She returned with only half the bandages she wanted, but also the secret of the clinic’s old hiding place. “Patience first,” Lina whispered. Next time you spot her bandage box, see if you can find the cross that started the riddle.
