🎨 How to color it

Color the kitten soft gray, the puppy honey brown, the draped blanket sky blue, and the star pillow buttery yellow. Use chunky crayons or broad marker strokes for the big blanket panels, and do not worry if little hands color over the fold lines. Try making the open moon book deep navy with pale yellow stars so the bedtime corner feels extra snug.

The story behind this coloring page

Under the blanket roof, Tilly the kitten tapped one paw on her pillow. She wanted both fuzzy slippers by the bed before the moon book’s last page turned. “Slipper-step challenge,” she whispered to Orlo the puppy. The room smelled like clean sheets, and the cloud mobile made a tiny clink.

Tilly stretched out, paw to pillow, pillow to blanket bump, never touching the floor. One slipper slid close with a soft shuff. The other waited far away. Tilly gave up her warm spot and made one brave, chilly hop. Back inside, Orlo had saved her place beside the teddy. The slippers were warm soon enough, but the best part was the two-paw space waiting for her. If you peek into the fort, can you tell which spot belongs to Tilly?
