🎨 How to color it

Color the cat soft cream, the LOVE balloon rosy red, the bow tie lavender, and the many roses in coral, peach, and deep pink. Use sharp colored pencils for the rose spirals, leaf clusters, and striped hearts, then switch to smooth marker fills for the cat’s belly and balloon. Try a pale sky-blue glow around the tiny stars so the warm hearts and flowers feel extra bright.

The story behind this coloring page

Every evening, Liora padded between the rose stalls after closing, carrying a heart balloon tied to a tiny brass tag. She rubbed the tag with her paw until it shone like honey, then listened to the empty market breathe—leaf-scratch, awning-creak, petal-sigh. The tag was not a price tag to her. It was the first thing the flower sellers had tied to her collar when they found her asleep in a tulip crate.

Until one day, a wind slipped under the striped canvas roofs and tugged the balloon string from her paws. Because of that, Liora chased it past buckets of mint and rain-wet roses, the brass tag clinking like a little bell. Because of that, every stall lamp blinked on as if answering, and the balloon stopped above a forgotten corner where no flowers grew.

“I know this place,” Liora whispered. She dug softly in the cool dirt and uncovered a row of sleeping bulbs, wrapped in paper marked with the same brass number. At last she planted them beneath the market arch, tied the tag to the string again, and curled beside it as the first pale shoots pointed upward. Next time you spot the bright balloon and the roses around her feet, can you tell which corner finally felt like home?
