🎨 How to color it

Color the fairy’s dress lavender, her swirling wings pale aqua, the crescent moon buttery yellow, and the star wand sparkling gold. Use sharp colored pencils for the tiny stars, wing spirals, and dotted moon border, working from the outer shapes toward the small details. Try a midnight-blue-to-purple glow around the big stars so her warm yellow moon looks extra bright.

Above the silver cloud roads, Tavia chased the Moonpath for the first time, her wand fizzing like soda bubbles in her hand. She wanted to tap the first star before the night-bell rang, so she zipped past comet dust, ducked under a sleepy moth-dragon, and laughed when cool wind tugged her flower clips sideways.

The crescent moon curled ahead, painted with dots and swirls that glowed softly. Tavia slowed. The first star twinkled beyond it, but the moon’s dotted border made a tiny tick-tick-tick sound, like knuckles knocking from the inside. She pressed her ear to the curve. “Who’s there?” she whispered.

A round dot popped open into a thumb-sized door, and out rolled a hidden map made of moonbeam thread. It showed that the first star was not beyond the crescent at all—it was tucked inside the moon’s own curl, waiting for the bravest first tap. Tavia’s knees wobbled once, then she grinned and lifted her wand. Next time you spot that curled moon, see if you can find the dot that went tick-tick-tick.
