🎨 How to color it

Try a cherry-red nose cone, sky-blue fuselage, silver wing panels, and soft lavender shadows inside the two puffy clouds. Use sharp colored pencils for the engine fan blades and cockpit frames, then switch to smooth marker fills on the big rounded body. Add a mischievous twist by making the curling wind trails fade from pale yellow to bright orange behind the banking jet.

Every afternoon at the Skybite Aerial Diner, Juno tucked a tiny bent spoon into her flight vest before carrying lunch trays from one floating platform to another. The spoon looked useless, but it had stirred her first cup of cocoa after her very first solo taxi, and its warm metal click made the engine hum feel like home. She wanted to finish the lunch loop without Captain Brisk finding it, because “no rattly doodads” was his favorite rule.

Until one day, the spoon slipped out and clinked into the radio slot. Because of that, the plane’s speaker began announcing every sandwich order in Juno’s voice: “Three pickles for cloud table six!” Because of THAT, the geese in formation wheeled after the pickle call, the wind ribbons curled into a giant spiral, and Captain Brisk’s mustache stood straight up.

“Best nonsense I’ve heard all week,” he barked, trying not to laugh. Juno banked through the spiral, tapped the spoon free, and used it to ping the perfect rhythm for landing at the diner dock. The cooks cheered, the geese honked for extra pickles, and Juno knew the sky was exactly her kind of noisy. If you spot her grin in the cockpit, you might guess where the tiny trouble spoon is hiding now.
