🎨 How to color it

Color the rocket cherry red with a silver round window, make the astronaut’s suit sky blue, and give the smiling moon a buttery yellow glow. Use chunky crayons or broad markers for the rocket body and helmet, then tap tiny dots of color into the small stars and bubbles. Try making the blast clouds peach, lavender, and pale gray so the rocket looks like it is puffing through candy-colored space.

Nico and the Humming Star — Under the sleepy crescent, Nico warmed his little engine: hum-hum, puff-puff. He wanted one moon-pebble chime from Bubble Orbit, so his window could sing at bedtime. Read the full story →

Under the sleepy crescent, Nico warmed his little engine: hum-hum, puff-puff. He wanted one moon-pebble chime from Bubble Orbit, so his window could sing at bedtime. The way out was cozy at first, all soft smoke and silver light, until a tiny star bumped his nose with a tink.

“Follow my hum,” whispered the star. Nico followed through cold, fizzy bubbles that tickled his fins, but each turn used up a puff of fuel. At last, the star opened a secret note hidden in the dark: la-la-lum. Nico carried the song home instead of a chime, and under the sleepy crescent, can you spot who first hummed it to him?
