Every day, under the sugar flags on Candy Avenue, Vivi zipped around the heart-cookie float and counted the icing loops. “One, two, zoooom!” she chirped, trying to finish before the licorice drum went rat-a-tat.
Until one day, she set herself a bigger challenge: touch every loop and every tiny heart before the parade horn. Because of that, she dashed so fast the paper hearts spun like red leaves. Because of THAT, the sticker float rolled early, carrying Vivi right into the parade. At last, she planted her crumbly feet, called, “Follow my loops!” and led the float in a perfect heart-shaped turn. Next time you spot the dashed border, can you trace Vivi’s speedy route home?
